Healthcare Provider CPR Course for Medical Personnel & Lifeguards

When:One Saturday a month

Through this course you will learn one- and two-person CPR, how to clear an obstructed airway, advanced airway management for adults, children and infants, as well as how to use various barrier devices and Automated External Defibrillation (AED). A two-year AHA certification card will be issued upon successful demonstration of skills and after passing a written test. A pocket mask/barrier device is required for this course and may be purchased before class. If student does not want to purchase one, he/she may borrow one from one of our trainers.

Pre-registration is required for each class. All classes have two-year certifications. You will receive your textbook at time of registration. Please review prior to class.

The Lifestyle Center at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare provides CPR and First Aid classes for the general public and businesses. All instructors are trained and certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to change or cancel your class. A $15 administrative fee and a textbook fee will be charged for cancellation. Registration fees will be refunded if the class is cancelled by the Lifestyle Center. Barrier devices are optional and may be purchased at the Lifestyle Center front desk for $15, plus tax.

Classes can be provided at your work site.

$80 fee (includes textbook) All Classes are held on Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
